    Capital City League 6/25

Kind of off topic, but this is incorrect information. Curtis is not living with Hubalek. Stinson has been in town for the last month and a half, coaching an AAU team, and individually working out with Hubalek and, when in town, Lucca. It has been beneficial to the ISU basketball program in which...

ESPN's Chad Ford Mock Draft - Mike Taylor #57

Don't be surprised if Taylor goes 42/43 to Sacramento, or 46 to Seattle. From what I've heard, Mike T is very well liked from both teams and has worked out several times in front of coaches.

    Chim Kadima

As previously posted, Kadima was offered this past weekend following the conclusion of the Skills Camp. Kadima performed well Saturday, but was sidelined and did not participate at all Sunday. He showed a great passion for the game with a tremendous work ethic. He seemed to be able to get to...

    Starting 5

Following the skills camp today, certain members of the staff were discussing who looked good, who would start if there was to be a game now. According to several, if the Cyclones were to play a game tomorrow this is what the starting line-up would look like. Take it how you want it; as we all...

    Skills camp from Saturday. (Long)

Update: No one was offered after the directly after the conclusion of the skills camp this afternoon. Jemal Farmer was thought by many to be the MVP of the camp. Attending one more year at his JUCO next year, don't be surprised if we extend an offer his way. Ryan Sypkens is another 'high...

What offense does Western Michigan run?

Jeff Rutter was being looked at for the Western Michigan head coaching job this next year, but someone else was offered it. Rutter is very favorable of how things are ran over their, and as shown, is implementing many assets of the offense into how things will be ran at Iowa State next year.

    Update on Harrison Barnes

After reading more thoroughly, yes I did mis-word in several cases, which as you said I did edit. However, all that was implied by posting this information was to simple inform the public of what has been discussed recently in the men's/women's basketball department. Never said it was going to...

    2008-2009 Schedule so far

Don't be surprised if a trip to Hawaii is booked prior to Thanksgiving Day. And yes, Spain after the season. Early spring/late summer for a basketball tour.

    Update on Harrison Barnes

I try to only provide inside information within the topic of men's basketball here at ISU, and try to not post that much, nor direct responses to certain people. But ISUfan22 you do not get it, as I stated in my first post, if it wasn't benefiting the women's program at the same time, he would...

    Update on Harrison Barnes

Take it as you want, I am just providing information that the public does not get to hear/see about. It has been seriously talked about within the offices of these two programs.

    Update on Harrison Barnes

In attempt to end the disapproval of Fennelly doing such a thing if it was just to benefit the men's program: Fennelly is an outstanding coach who wouldn't do such a thing if it wasn't going to benefit his team as well. Nesbitt is an extremely talented point guard, maybe a little undersized...

    Skills Camp?

The skills camp is not a closed camp/gym by any means. Anybody can attend to watch, just like any other camp. The point in the creation of this camp this summer was due to the absence and lack of certain players, recruits on the weekend of the Elite Camp.

    Update on Harrison Barnes

It may seem a little childish, but all I was mentioning was that there has been serious talk within the basketball departments about such an attempt.

    ANTHONY MARSHALL

The men's basketball program sends hundreds and hundreds of kids mail. Iowa State is recruiting Anthony, hard at that, but does not see a great reason in offering with seeing the small amount of interest that the basketball program has seen back from him.
