    I'm assuming this wasn't Tampa's first choice. It seems like Tampa would be a desirable destination to go. They have a good young defense and a rising star in Josh Freeman. I don't get it. Is the owner a complete whack job?

    Hayes is a big loss imo. We needed a pass rush upgrade. George can fill in in the middle. Against the pass happy attacks the middle linebacker isn't even on the field anyway.

    Haha. This is almost his only option since he has burned all his bridges in college. Depending on how in-shape he is he may get a shot to get signed after the draft. No one is going to take a chance on this guy in the draft even if he runs a 4.4 at his pro day because of his off the field...

    80-65 KU. If you think we did a poor job on the boards this game it will only get worse playing against the likes of Thomas Robinson. KU probably goes on a 10-0 run to start the game and never looks back.

    2-6 4.29 ERA are his career statistics. Cashner had a 1.69 ERA last season.

    Not quite sure Vitters is the future at 3rd or anywhere for that matter. The cubs had him playing 1st at the end of the year at Tennessee (AA). I hope he tears it up this year in the minors.

    Wow. Cashner was the best starting pitcher the cubs had when he wasn't hurt (which was basically the whole season). I guess the cubs' brass decided he wasn't going to be a starting pitcher because of his durability issues and sent him packing.

    I agree that Herman's offensive game plan wasn't flawless, but there were a couple times (lenz running across the middle and white wide open in the flat) where the qb missed receivers. Herman can't run out there and execute for the players.

    Exactly. Luck won't get a $60M contract but the Colts can't afford both unless they want to suffer in other phases of the game. If Colts get the #1 pick they will take Luck and ship Manning to some NFC team. Manning is too much of a risk at this point in his career.
