    Lucious vs Gesell

    Rivers wasn't a point guard (sg). Gesell barely made the 4-star cut on rivals...it's not like he is going to burn it up the minute he touches the floor. Gesell will have to adjust to the speed of the college game.

    Dominating Kentucky's vaunted frontline like he did tonight, I'm sure RW's stock rose dramatically. I think he would greatly benefit from another year in college IMO (developing a reliable 15 ft jumper and free throws), but if he is going to be a sure-fire 1st round pick I would not blame him...

    Teague was awesome for Kentucky. ISU choose to sag off of him and he hit his shots (so did the rest of the team). Also, Kentucky beat our $%# on the boards. Whenever we could get a stop they would get the offensive rebound. It also would have helped if we would have shot it better from 3...

    Does not do a whole ton of good to look at good wins and bad losses. It is all about how the teams are playing right now and the match-ups at certain positions.

    Stick a fork in Illinois. They're done and so is their coach. I don't see Northwestern making it unless they win 3 out of their last 4 (need to beat Michigan or Ohio State) and win a couple games in the big 10 tourney.

    If Ejim was playing his natural position (SF) he wouldn't get pushed around all the time. He is usually having to guard the other team's PF/C.

    Not so fast my friend. At the present moment we are playing well but we also beat up on the worst team in the big 12 and barely beat an Ok St. team that is near the bottom of the conference as well. ISU needs some quality wins on the road to make the tourney.
