    I cannot disagree more. They really don't play anything alike. It's hard to compare anyone playing now to players of the past...the NBA is garbage now and it's nothing like what it used to be. More than anything, there is just a huge lack of defense, to go along with too much 1-on-1 crap.

    This is true, but there is a HUGE difference between the complaining on ours to the complaining on elite programs' message boards around the country. If you're a recruit and you're reading a meltdown thread about how you lost in the conference championship or in the final four of the NCAA...

    Exactly...think about some of the less touted players we've had that have had very productive careers at ISU...if you think about Homan, Shirley, Rancik, and other players like that who did very well late in their careers at ISU when they had time to develop it makes sense.
