    Twins just beat the birds out for Mahle. Mo is so weak. No team has ever valued the potential upside of prospects as much as the Cardinals. Incredibly frustrated. Ugh!

    It’s starting to appear that the Cards won’t do any other moves, which imo puts a cap on the season. Team simply cannot make a playoff run with such a thin rotation. If nothing else is done, it’s a bit of a slap in the face to Yadi and Albert in their final season.

    I like the Quintana trade, but I will be disappointed if we are done. If Soto is not realistic anymore, then I would hope they make a hard push for Lopez, Mahle, Rodon or Skrubal

    Meh - they have some entertainment value if nothing else. Going back to the expansion process headed by OU pres Boren, MHver3 tweeted a huge welcome to Cincy and someone else 1 minute before the Big XII said they decided not to expand afterall. He disappeared for a while after that.

    agree. that's also my point though. DM is very unlikely to resign with the Bears if they decline to extend before the season starts. He has lobbied for it, and I imagine not coming to terms would produce some bad blood.
