    team was completely gassed trying to keep up with NC scoring every trip down/rotating guys in and out. Niang would had alleviated that and we would have most likely won going away. As it was...we needed insane shooting by Naz to pull even in the closing moments.

    I approve of this thread. My opinion is that it will be a tough battle just to get by UNC...and will not get any further (Niang injury is huge). The season so far has been fantastic...and the 2014 Big 12 title will always belong to us. A wonderful season...no matter what happens Sunday.

    Pretty much this. Our one big that can create. Anything here on out is gravy. The season has been awesome and winning the Big12 was incredible.

    No giving up.. Objectively..I don't see getting past Villanova or Mich St without Georges....that is just being realistic. Even if we do not beat UNC on Sunday....it has been a terrific season.

    I think a lot of Clone fans already think this is possible if we shoot lights out. Fans are lamenting "what could have been" after this Sunday. The ceiling got significantly lower with Georges. We have no bigs that can create down low...and that will not carry us past Villanova/Mich St.

    Totally different circumstance. Ware did not play anything near the role Niang does. Easy to make the case Niang was the one injury we could not afford. We now have a front line that essentially cannot create their own shot. Beating NC without Georges is possible...anything after that will be...
