    To put another way, we will have two currently unproven players and a top 50 shooting guard which most assume will be good enough to get rotation minutes. So it’s a matter of finding someone for point guard now or pray to get a point guard next year.

    If I had to guess, it’s an internal debate over between Mooney, Amin and Nixon. Plus, as is already on the record from multiple sources, the pref is for a sit out and Mooney is not one.

    It could but lotts of teams in front of them would have to lose. Keep in mind if we win out that’s four wins vs top 15 and most teams will not be able to equal/top that.

    We have no scholarships. There is talk he may wait until spring to commit. If he does and someone transfers or goes pro, we are most likely his first choice.
