    Washington hires Jedd Fisch

USC is in a horrible area. UCLA and UW were awesome years ago, probably still nice today.

We tip our running plays. Defenses know it is coming, and probably which side.

Williams & Blum Pod: Red alert on bowl season, Liberty Bowl thoughts & hoops wrap-up

Almost as if his team had good insight from a former player and coach, and could use it because ISU DID NOT CHANGE THINGS UP even knowing the familiarity. That's the biggest problem with the performance.

Williams & Blum Pod: Red alert on bowl season, Liberty Bowl thoughts & hoops wrap-up

Imagine going against a former multi-year player and assistant coach and being as predictable as ever against them. Now imagine defending that, when the person that made that decision gets $4 million per year. Appalling.

Williams & Blum Pod: Red alert on bowl season, Liberty Bowl thoughts & hoops wrap-up

It's the Mt. Union Way. Just gotta execute better!

No, the fans need to be more demanding. $4 million a year for the same mistakes and predictability, without any accountability on CMC's part?

Asking again: Has the rot started to set in?

We're not winning the Big12. CMC isn't even smart enough to change things up when facing a former coach and player. 0 rushing yards? Our tells were screams to Memphis. Gave up over 500 yards? Equally as predictable on defense. Oh well, just a scrimmage. Same as the Fiesta Bowl..........

A SINGLE game? Ohio, Iowa and now Memphis in this season alone. Same rot.

4th and 1? Oh my, how bold! At least he didn't take a timeout first to reconsider.

He's right though. CMC would rather lose his way than throw caution to the wind and go for the big win. Guy's as predictable as the dawn.

This. He plays Mt. Union style, no matter what. Just assumes execution is the difference between a win and a loss. ISU let a lesser opponent put up 530 yards and 36 points against them yesterday. ISU had no sacks, 1 tackle for loss, and forced no turnovers. ISU gave up 166 rushing yards...

*** Official IOWA STATE vs Memphis Liberty Bowl Game(Day) Thread ***

You been reading the same board? It is very acceptable to a large number of Cyclone fans. So acceptable that not only will they tolerate the coaching and effort, they defend it. Did you know we beat a 4 and 3 Oregon team years ago when we had multiple NFL stars on the team? That was awesome.

This. Also, add in the fact that a former ISU coach and player are on Memphis. And we come out as predictable as ever? Brilliant! Love Mt. Union Football. Great stuff. Absolutely idiotic not to drastically change things up and try different things in a "meaningless" bowl game.

If you have players that can step between the lines and not turn it on you have a real problem. Only game for months, with weeks to prepare. Winners show up. Winners can't stand to lose. At anything. Campbell comes out Mt. Union style expecting to win, just because. So disappointing. Again.

ISU should have reminded the conference we were just there and played Memphis in 2017, and would absolutely not play them again on their field for a "bowl" game. It's ISU's 3rd time there in 11 years. Memphis, Tennessee. Outside of Graceland and Bass Pro, not seeing a whole lot of appeal.

I mean, loyal sons forever true is in our fight song. Are alumni not supposed to be invested in the team that represents their school? Fans and alumni are told that now, more than ever, their support is essential. Players have NEVER been more spoiled than they are now. What with the cost of a...

    NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

Which is why the pick looks horrible in retrospect. Granted, hindsight and all. But LaPorta instead? Also, I cannot believe how stupid the Bengals can be at times. I am glad they are chirping though, the Chiefs need to play motivated and angry football.
