I love that he is coaching like 2017 and 2018 again as far as playing to win. I wasn't expecting it, but am very happy about that development. -

PSU's QB Allar is averaging 6.9 yards per attempt against very weak competition. ISU's Becht is averaging 6.8 yards per attempt against good competition with a weaker supporting cast than PSU. Coaches always love coming up with excuses for playing chicken **** football. Turnovers loom so large to them that they prefer the safe, predictable, and ineffective play calling. He's being ridiculously obtuse. He doesn't like being questioned, especially when they are valid. Penn State has only played 2 teams with a pulse. His QB is sitting at 6.9 yards per attempt. That's getting into Hawkeye Land. Any decent football team has a couple deep plays in the playbook...- joefrog

It is amazing to watch how comfortable he is at the next level, compared to his later years at ISU. And that is with a much faster game, confusing blitzes, and better coverage. There's also a reason he's lucky to have even ONE win against Iowa. One. With elite NFL talent on his rosters, including at QB. When you start every single season slow, even when you have experience, you are doing something wrong. -

The Big12 sucks this year. Big time. Only 2 ranked teams. And that is in a year where college football is down across the board. -

One decent game doesn't excuse poor losses to Iowa and Ohio. Happy for the team, but Campbell needs to normalize this. I don't want to watch a worse version of Hawkeye football.
