I'll take a bite at your point though... on a whole to grow and sustain a larger fan base, media exposure is important. CF has grown into that role a little bit (Since most Iowa media is still PAINFULLY biased towards the ******* Hawkeyes. Going back to Eastern Iowa is always a painful...- Flag Guy

Attendance spiked with excitement for the program.... the product failed to live up to the glamour and started to peter off again towards the end of Chizik. Seriously though while a message board is good for keeping tabs on a program... most of the people that visit here tend to already be fans (or at least the ones that helped grow the message board back in the days of McCarney/Chizik and McDermontt) Also nice for a little bit of out of state...- Flag Guy

How long does it take you to get to ISU?
Stumpy has me beat I'm only 20 hours (20.5 as I'd drive it avoiding tolls), though I'd stop overnight 6-8 hours. 1100 miles on a whole Flying generally would take 10-12 hours- Flag Guy

In college football that can be a compelling enough reason.... improve the game day experience to make us more attractive to recruits, TV, etc -

Probably after lower hanging fruit, would still need a lead donor, and would rather see people in the stadium right now I could see a succesful season being a springboard to such a grass roots campaign, but even at an average of $500 / person for 55,000 people, you still wouldn't raise enough... -
