    I have one year left in school, but you know what, I will be there if we're 0-12 or 12-0. There's a spirit here that can't be beaten. This place will always be home no matter where I'm at.

    Ya know we haven't had a lot of good days as Cyclone fans but when they do happen they're that much sweeter. I don't know if I've ever had a better feeling pumping my fist walking out of Jack Trice after the Mizzou game in 06 or after beating Iowa in 07. I could use a good day or two this fall!

    Just browsing cyclonescentral.com listening to some old Pete Taylor calls. I may have been in my teens but doggone it the insight bowl helped me through some tough times losing my sister. You can't help but just shake your fist longing for those days and hoping for them this year.

    Favorite Bar in Ames

    Chasers is always fun for FAC. Pool, beer pong and "are you smarter than a stripper" are the best in Ames. Heading over to Mickey's for a free beer around 5 pm hits the spot too. Second place would be Mickey's downstairs.

    Best bathroom and computer lab on campus?

    I could say Gerdin has the best crappers but that would be biased since I'm a business student. The best place to take a dump is Beardshear 1st floor and best computer lab is Gerdin by far with two monitor computers along the east wall.

    Best Spot on ISU Campus

    I also particularly like the 4 or 5 trees that are around the flag pole on central campus. Their changing leaves always stand out during October and they are a nice place to sit in the shade during August.
