What ever happened to Ed?

Offensive Line Problems
We have a new line coach, new tactics for the line ( Q or S guards and tackles), new offense, a young team,new defensive line, 2 newcomers to the D line, and several key injuries. With all that, we were one play away from winning the game. I don't know if we will get better, but don't give up yet. -

I don't think Ferentz will be as bad as we hope this year. He should be angered by the bad press, and provoking him more may be a mistake. -

Need computer help
If you live near Des Moines, take your modem to Mediacom office and trade for a new one. That should eliminate the modem as the problem and the 9 day wait. I've had some luck by just disconnecting the modem from the cable and the power source for about 30 seconds --- then trying it again. -

I hope Lazard is a fantastic success, but we had quite a bit of the same feeling back when Earle Bruce brought in a recruit. Can't quite remember his name. Think it was Jerry ???? from Eastern Iowa. I'm sure someone on here will remember this episode. -

Best place to get four piece appliance's?
Year ago we bought a Sears washing machine. Good price. Good sales person. 4 weeks for service when we had a problem. Not going back. -

electric shaver
I use a Braun Pulsonic. It's the best electric razor I've found but still not as good as a blade. I have a heavy beard and use the electric almost every day. It does seem to take a longer time to shave with the Pulsonic than other electrics I've used --- but it gets closer. -

Grubs/aerating/overseeding
I'm pretty sure that grubs eat the grass roots below the surface of the lawn, but do not make pencil holes. That's not saying that you don't have a grub problem. I just think something else is making the pencil holes. -

Oil Change Question
I don't know what kind of oil is put in my two cars and I have it changed at the dealerships. One is a Lexus and one is a Honda. The tag they put on the windshield says to change it every 5,000 miles. I usually do as they say but sometimes I let it slide a little. They both are running ok... -

Does anyone have a handle on how much data usage you need to use the iphone 5 as a gps replacement? I know this is a question that is dependent upon how much you use the gps. We would use it the most on a trip from Iowa to Florida. -

Roof Workers Question
Had a new roof done by Spanish speaking workers and they worked their rear ends off and did a great job. Had a moving company (Two Men and a Truck --- actually 5 men and 2 trucks), all English speaking workers, and they worked their rear ends off and did a great job too. I don't know what... -

If you have time, check out Kiawah Island. It's a family resort about 25 miles from Charleston. We used to vacation there and visit Charleston for tours, dinners, etc. -

Football Forum ?
Thank you but still not working for me. Not a biggie, as I can access the ISU Football forum from the forum menu, but it seems odd that mine works this way. I tried using IE9 and no luck either. -

When I click on the Football Forum (at the top of the page), it tells me that I am at an old site. There is no content. All the other sites seem to work ok, but not this one. Anyone know the problem? Is it my browser (Chrome), or this site.
