Landscaping rock
Be sure to put down landscaping fabric. The crummy plastic stuff will tear and poke up. Also, make 100% sure it's what you want because tearing out landscaping rock is just awful... -

Anybody sick of hearing...
Wow- we got some fun haters in the house. Who cares what someone does or doesn't do at their wedding reception?? It's their reception, they should be able to personalize it however they want. The weddings I've been to with Cy, fight song, corny dances--everyone seemed to be having a blast. -
Millipedes?
Anything with 6+ legs that moves fast is not welcome in my residence. I don't care how beneficial it is. -

Renovate. There's plenty of modern stadiums to choose from, if that's the experience you're looking for. JMO, but the many of the fans that scream to tear down Wrigley seem to me to be either : A) white sox of cardinals fans or B) bandwagon fans who jumped on the cubs bandwagon in hopes of the...- birdflu

When I worked for a landscaping company in eastern IA a few years ago you wouldn't believe how many calls we would get from people with brand new houses where the "grading" that was done was running all the water right towards their house. The worst one I saw all the soil under their sidewalk... -

I haven't been back to La Fuente since they accidentally gave my plate to someone at the next table, who took a bite out of it, said it wasn't theirs, so they picked it up and gave it to me. Never again.:confused: -

El Azteca out on Dayton (by the hotels) has great service and great food. Cazador is good, but it can be hit or miss on the service there. Neither has the Mahi Mahi tacos I was getting at O'Malleys though :sad: -

Planting trees
I remember in one of my hort classes at ISU they would put pics of the "volcano" mulch pile around ISU trees as an example of what not to do. Hole size is right on though. They also were not a fan of fertilizer tree spikes. -

ITA. I will be so sad if they close for good. Their Mahi Mahi tacos and fajitas are awesome. They should move to West Ames- by that new hotel they are building ...and closer to my residence:yes: -
Flooding in Cyclone Country
The stadium area was dry as a bone when I went by an hour ago. The flooding was still confined to across the road in the softball fields. Up by the rec and cyride it's a total mess though. -
