Cyride shut down
I hope the roads are better now than they were at 5 pm. 20 minutes just to get up the hill at 13th st going under the RR tracks. And the hill on Hyland approaching 13th street was littered with about 6 cars and a Cyride bus all stuck. It was ridiculous. -
Organic Food

Landscaping (rock)
When I worked in the landscaping industry we always put down fabric (not plastic!) under rock. It was somewhat helpful in preventing weeds, and kept the rock from mixing with the soil underneath. [On the other hand, wood mulch should go right on the bare ground (with preen, if you like) mulch... -

Quick HWY 30 Question
They are trying to get a bypass going around Morrison. Don't count on Illinois getting their act together on it anytime soon though... I'd like to see a bypass around Clinton- it would make my trip on 30 to IL so much faster..plus Clinton kinda smells..:confused: -

Favorite misuses of English language...
Lay/Lie is a tough one for me to keep straight, but I know that the songs "Lay Lady Lay" and "Lay Down Sally" are both grammatically incorrect.
