    I'd be happy for him. He was a class person all around. I think McD's time at ISU was a learning experience and he has clearly been a better coach since he got to Creighton. He was also pretty snakebitten by injuries and weird player issues (wesley johnson, lucca staiger).

    Honestly, before the season started I was really concerned about where the points would come from. We overperformed my expectations early on and through much of the season. In the end, I think the team performed about as well as my preseason expectations were.

    That sounds like a similar level of BS as currently exists with stalling, except you actually get to see people take shots instead of just sitting on a knee.

    I don't know if it is the quality of wrestlers or the rules, but international matches seem much more enjoyable to watch. The refs seem to really make the athletes be active.

    Yeah, the other ref looking around in a confused way really makes me happy for some reason. He is clearly looking for something that warrants ejection and not finding it. Pure surprise.

    to my untrained eye, Bastida struggled with the other guy's height/length. Never seemed to be able to fight through the defense and he couldn't escape.

    I know ISU at one point required freshmen to live in dorms. I didn't think firearms of any kind were allowed in the dorms. I'm curious if Alabama has similar requirements.
