    Any later it's a pick. Any flatter it's a pick. Any more float and the receiver gets crunched. Any higher it's a pick. Makes for a difficult throw when there just isn't any wiggle room for a less than perfect throw.

    I think Purdy has a few really elite skills - anticipation, footwork, little movements in the pocket to make space, and accurate throwing. Those things wouldn't go away if he were on another team. He might not look as good with lesser talent, but I think he would look better than many starters...

    It's hard to analyze what-ifs because if you move to a 4-3 then it is likely there are more holes in coverage for opposing QBs to exploit. We got a lot of coverage sacks the last few years when we dropped 8 and just gave our d-line time to win.
