    Still don't know why David wasn't getting more run. He has been abusing the niners all night and they just keep sending gibbs out there. I know gibbs is good, but you just can't waste a game where David is on. When he is in full hulk-mode, he is phenomenal.

    Yeah, Trent is fine. It's the other 4 linemen that are the issue. Even when the 49ers offense is working, it's often a hair's breadth from disaster because the line can't hold up. When you watch tape, it is crazy how often linemen barely miss purdy's arm on throws.

    9ers really need an interior line if they want to sustain success. They can scheme around it against inferior teams and can survive on occasion. Against the better defensive teams there is no way to hide a bad interior. Good interior d linemen will just continually walk guys back into the QB.

    Gotta say, Tang has done a masterful job of giving his fanbase a scapegoat. If he hadn't, maybe there would be more attention on him earning a costly technical at a vital moment in the game.

    I mean, for as much attention as offenses get, strong defense still seems to be the key to enabling winning consistently.

    Nfl playoffs are strange sometimes. Doesn't feel like we have a dominant team, despite there being so many blowouts. Wouldn't be surprised to see a team like buffalo or Tampa get to the superbowl.

    I'm 95% certain that Brock does that strange left-handed drop back every now and then mainly as a way to get behind Williams and away from the right side of their line.

    The O-line for the 49ers is pretty bad other than the starting LT. Most of their big runs are right behind him. They run other places, but not nearly as effective. Not sure what stops them from running more other than not being successful running right.
