    It's a college football team, and I have no problem with him micro-managing a college football team. I'd be worried if he was micro-managing his coaches, but it's absolutely fine when it comes to the players.

    First off, that's pretty far off of the premise. Also, I think most people could tell you how 95% of shows and movies are going to end. That doesn't mean that 95% of shows and movies suck. It's not the ending that makes them good, it's how they get to that ending.

    I don't really believe that it reinforces the notion that he did it intentionally. All the suspension says is that if he had done his job properly, this wouldn't have happened. That's what I read into Conn's suspension.

    How could you possibly know this? Every coaching staff I've seen has guys that don't really do much during games (in the fans' physical view), but it doesn't mean they don't have some important role.

    I don't normally call people out, but that has to be one of the dumbest things I've read on this site. Coaching a D1 team is not easy. You have to match wits with the absolute best coaches in the country (which is why they are D1 coaches), and you have to add that we currently have below...

    Really?!?!? That's the worst attitude I can think of. You play to win, period. If a game is out of hand, by all means, play some guys to get them experience. But you should NEVER sacrifice a chance to win to get someone experience for next year. I don't care how crappy the season's been...

    In this case, no way he made a mistake. You've seen the guy on the floor for a couple of minutes a game. GM also saw those minutes, plus he saw every minute of every practice. I have a feeling he knows who should be on the floor more than you do and more than I do.

    I didn't have a problem in Paris, either, but to be fair I was there in 1998, so before the most recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. I suppose the sentiment may have changed due to a few diplomatic issues.
