Dude, seriously.
If ISU was in the Sweet 16, I guarantee no person would give 2 craps about UNI. And, people would be absolutely drooling over McDermott. Unfortunately, ISU can't even win half their games, so we need something to cheer about.
This is actually one of the only posts I've read that makes sense in support of McD and gives some sort of hope.
You actually back it up with tangible things and it makes sense, not just "McD will be here for a long time, get used to it."
Still not re-upping my season tickets (quit 2 years...
I have one priority: win.
If that guy is a recruiter, great. If he is a hypnotist, great. If it is a young dude, old dude, black dude, white dude: don't care. Just want someone that will get us to winning games.
Yes, I cried when I heard the news.
All these stories have such a range of emotion for me--laughter, sadness, fear.
I can remember one dude 'losing' his Chicago Bears tie on his birthday. You just don't see that anymore.
I feel like this is a pretty easy question for me to answer. I think I could be attacked by PETA for the number of moles I've killed on our acreage.
I've killed them by the following methods: poison, smoke, shotgun (only 1, and that was a close range 12 guage), and traps.
By far the most...
To answer your question: no. I am only trying to figure out your argument.
Anyway...you're counting the games we lost as 'toss-ups', not games we shouldn't have won.
Were there any 'toss-ups' that we won?
Thing is, we are really 11th. If we were really a 9th place team, we would have beaten Texas Tech and Oklahoma. We didn't, and you said we didn't lose to anyone we were suppsoed to beat, so we're the 11th place team. That's right where you had us pegged at the beginning of the year?
Don't you improve by beating teams? I don't care if we're better or worse on paper, I just want to win.
I think you and I generally agree. You just have a lot more patience than I do!
What was this thread about again.......
Really? I certainly understand more of where you're coming from now.
You just said that you don't care if we ever improve. The only way to get better is to beat teams that 'are better than us'. Otherwise, all those teams are better than us.
I agree with a lot of your posts, but this one is really out there man. Are you friggin serious?????
I would trade a loss to Iona for a Kansas win any day of the year, and I would sure as hell hope any Clone fan would, too. You're saying you'd rather have a crappy non-confernce win vs. a...
