    Totally agree--just didn't word that in the best way. My point was the same as yours, Main Street was well within their right to shut it down, and that's what they did. Ames council gives way too much weight to any small vocal opposition, no matter the issue. (One exception: Carr Pool)

    Jax Outdoor Gear likely does. They rent cross country skis, so probably rent snowshoes too. They are open weekends. If you want to wait until Monday, ISU Rec services likely rents them too.

    Hillside Tix - Bottom "Coupon"?

    I thought maybe ISU was giving out hemorrhoid coupons (Hillside 'Bottom' Coupon) for the hillside seats. Seemed like a good marketing ploy for Preparation H, but maybe not so much for ISU.
