They are way more often now. Roads are partially covered and even normal between here and Ames and school is closed. No snow falling and no wind. This wouldn’t have happened even 15 years ago. -

NWS is always high. Wunderground seems really accurate usually and they show 5 or so for Ames and 7-8 for Cedar Rapids. -
