    I like the schedule this way. Quad 4 to boost confidence, tryout different lineups, tournaments and Iowa for legit games. Our Big12 conference schedule is such a beast that there’s no way our SoS is gonna be an issue.

    Coaching Staff In The First Half

    I think on defense we sold out to shut down the run and dared them to beat us in the air. And they did. I don’t really have a problem with that. Props to Bean and the OC play calls. I think the coaching move i had the most problem with was using a timeout on 1st and 5 in the 3rd quarter down...

    I was most pissed off at the time about the “fumble” called at the end of the 1st half. Mostly because at the time i was hollering for pass interference or defensive holding. I couldn’t fathom how they ruled it a fumble. Which ive seen the replays now and confirmed what I saw at the time...

    I thought the call on the field started as marking him out at the 1. And that the booth called it back to the 30 as part of a booth review or something. But after seeing the video i realized that it was the ref on the field that made the call. So now it makes more sense.

    About all they could do is apologize. It was bad call and i was a raving lunatic yelling about it at the game, even without seeing that replay or knowing that the ref was standing a few feet from the play when he made the call. But he shouldn’t be fired. Thats a bit much. It was a huge moment...
