    House of the Dragon

    I enjoyed seeing some Outlander actors make their way to this series! I really enjoyed the first episode. As others said it was a good intro/set the stage episode. The gore at the jousting / melee was more than I was expecting lol.

    What do you miss/appreciate about Iowa?

    Family and friends. I moved away right after college, and it can be tough at times. AE. As said by other posters... nothing compares. Thunderstorms. This one might be weird but Denver storms are fast and furious. I miss the long thunderstorms of Iowa/midwest.

    Friday OT #1 - As Long As I Got My Suit and Tie

    I've worked from home for the last 10 years so its comfy clothes 100% of the time. When I do have to get dressed up (wedding, funeral, etc...), I actually enjoy it. Sure the clothes can be less comfortable but I still like it lol. TL/DR I don't often dress up and when I do I don't mind it.

    Iowa State fair starts today. You going this year?

    Used to go to the fair every year when I lived back in IA growing up with my mom/family. Honestly not sure I'd want to go if I lived back in IA, COVID or not... more so because it seems like my memories are of scorching hot days and that's about it lol.
