    White Bear Meadery (Northeast Twin Cities). There's a few good cideries around here that make pretty good ciders. I like them as long as they aren't too sweet. One place here has a cider with peppers that is terrific. You can get it either a little spicy or really spicy.

    The St Paul Grill in St Paul are the best hashbrowns I've ever had. They are crispy and loaded with bacon and onions. The place is pretty expensive so you expect them to be good. The second best I've had are from the Otho Pub (I believe it's closed).

    They definitely aren't overpriced. Just simple breakfast food with a large choice of additions for hashbrowns: Smothered — Sautéed onions grilled in butter. Covered — Melted American cheese. Chunked — Grilled diced hickory smoked ham. Diced — Grilled diced tomatoes. Peppered — Spicy jalapeno...
