Dang it, Lipsey has two fouls. Not sure we can beat TCU with him on the bench. :D

Excerpt from Gary Parrish Top 25 (and one), re: Dayton. Apparently, he's attempting to set a record for longest sentence. This doozy is 62 words. Period key is your friend, my friend! --> Instead, the Flyers are now one game back of Richmond in the loss column of the league standings with...

Although it's a minor detail for ISU's profile at this point, VCU is playing Dayton at home tonight. A win over UD could lift VCU from Q2b to Q2a.

    Bracketology 2024

As for committee attempting to create storylines in bracketing & matchups ... you can find a good storyline just about anywhere. Extension of coaching trees (e.g., head coach v. former assistant, HC vs. former school), # of historical tournament matchups; former conference mates...

I could take a general swing at it. EDIT: Actually, I might not have time right now (but I'd be willing to look later).

This is true. I'm not sure if Houston will end up #1 overall (currently considered #3 in pecking order), but potential is there if UH happens to win B12 convincingly ... opportunity for it is there, but not easy. Memphis seems like so much more natural regional fit I'd be surprised if...

I'm glad someone posted a summary ... I listened to that podcast and was surprised when CW expressed 'confusion'* about how first-weekend sites are determined.

    Holy **** that’s a big win

Mike Taylor says "hi." :) Edit -- Garrett definitely would rank close to top ... it's weird how Taylor & Garrett bookend GM's period, almost like one is "holdover" and the other thrived more afterward.

    Holy **** that’s a big win

When it comes to Pav, he has some limits, but I agree he's good to have as adjustable minutes depending on game situation. Not like he's playing 20-plus minutes per game consistently. Sometimes this season I've thought, y'know, on a couple of McDermott's ISU teams, a player like Pav might have...

Wisconsin loss at U-M isn't THAT bad ... it's a Quad 2b loss. Not helpful to profile, but isn't going to kill anything.

    2023-2024 MBB computer projections thread

I think VCU crossed into Q2 a couple of wins ago, but yes it had been Q3 for quite some time. I think it was been a 2 at the time of ISU-VCU, then dipped, can't remember exact timeline.
