    In Ankeny I almost always go to the old HY-Vee as it is cheaper than the newer one. Quite a bit on the things we normally get. I never understood how the same company with 2 stores in the same town what 2 miles apart has such drastic price differences on the same products.

    We got an email this morning from the Iowa All State Music Festival and all lots surrounding Hilton will be open at 6:05pm. Any open spots are first come first served for Concert Spectators.

    Congrats. My son is in the Band also. We have season tickets so we have a C4 pass. So good luck, no solutions but should be a great concert.

    ****, what a nightmare. 730 pm All State Band Festival in Hilton. My son is in the band. What a **** show. There will be 1000 kids and 7000 seats sold headed to a concert at 730pm Saturday.

    Could be but is it normal to keep a disgruntled athlete on Scholarship till she graduates? Scholarship are 1 year contacts, she has been atcISU for 4 years now, only played 2 and is still Scholarship. Seems awful nice of the University. Honest question is it common in this situation to...

    I do, they feel they are. As professionals you need to deal with the press, right or wrong. Sanders response to Birch is wrong and unprofessional.

    Not in disagreement, she can in certain situations help. However, IMHO she is not the make it or break it player on this team. To be honest, at first glance Soares is that player. We are top 10 because of her. Maybe top 5. Once again IMHO.

    Why do you say that. With Soares as the main big and Kane and Jordao will spit minutes. She helps depth but not sure she is the key to this teams success.

    Also, when many of these things have come out, many players always side with the coach, some do not. My guess is the Truth lies someplace in the middle.

    Boy for once I hope for the 11am game for Tech. That night there is an Iowa All State Band and Choral Concert. 1000 kids and 6000 spectators in Hilton that starts at 730pm. What A nightmare if the game is anything other than 11am.
