    Wow, I'm fired up about the new coach!

    I'm not sure where everyone is getting this from. Currently Iowa State and Murray State have the same number of NBAers - 1. Murray State has a kid who will likely be drafted - big deal.

    TJ kept his job transitioning from McD to FH ... I believe FH only knew him by reputation. I'm sure whomever gets the job (if it isn't TJ) will retain him for at least a year. Relationships to players, recruiting ability, continuity ... That is if him wants to remain with I-State.

    This is probably the end of Marquette kids for Iowa State. The kind of player Steve Wojo is recruiting is different from the players Buzz Williams was getting. The whole transition from Buzz to Wojo helped foster some transferring.

    Henry Ellenson's brother (a transfer from Minnesota) is at Marquette with 2 years yet to play. Ellenson is more likely to jump to the NBA before transferring.

    Silly post, Otzelberger was getting guys who could play but not in the system that McDermott wanted to run. The guys TJ recruits fit extremely well with the way Hoiberg runs ISU currently. Remember back to pre-Hoiberg days? Recruiting anyone to ISU is a lot more difficult than it is right...
