    We also had 5 winning seasons in the Big 8 under Bruce (3, 1976-1978), Majors (1, 1971) and Stapleton (1, 1960). I also counted 9 winning conference records in the Missouri Valley Conference from 1908-1927, and 3 in the Big Six from 1928-1947.

    They've changed their blocking schemes a bit too. Not every play, but often enough to surprise the defense. You see linemen pulling and trapping now which we haven't done in forever. That gives better angles for the line to make successful blocks. It also reduces the RBs need to read blocks...
