IOWA STATE TO BIG TEN?!? Dave Wannstedt thinks so.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the Pac12 not expanding. It makes zero sense to me. That conference needs an infusion of rabid fans. Big 12 fans are rabid. What am I missing?

    Not running Purdy in openers

I’m hoping for a solid jirehl brock game with Dekkers getting snaps. Injury free is the most important thing.

    Player endorsements

Pretty sure that that was happening anyway with Ou/Tx leaving.

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

With OU and Texas leaving, I’m guessing tv revenue drops by 14 million per year. Not exactly a small hit. As for whether it’s short term or not, I have no clue there.

This is why Mike Vernon KU scoopmeister is just this realignment cycle’s crap slinger. There were those two West Virginia guys that were pretty similar if I recall. Nothing like confusing Jesus with conference realignment.

IOWA STATE TO BIG TEN?!? Dave Wannstedt thinks so.

Someone just posted something about the plane owner involved in a church planting project and a church in Columbus, Oh was the first one. The conclusions people jump to are just nuts.

IOWA STATE TO BIG TEN?!? Dave Wannstedt thinks so.

If the B1G, ACC and Pac12 drop from 9 conference games to 8 (to get in alliance games), then it changes things. That is a lot of inventory getting flushed where in conference games are more valuable than out of conference games. That is where expansion comes in. Inventory and even #s. You...

Wait…one flight from Ames to tOSU and this prompts the KU Vernon guy to tweet realignment news. Yikes, sounds like that dude is grasping at straws.

Incentivized? You could argue the B1G could take a hit by the alliance. The ACC being under ESPN control does nothing for the alliance. i have no clue what will happen, but the lack of a contract should be a dead giveaway nothing is incentivized.

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

So have we accepted the fact that the Big 12 is going to expand with a revenue hit yet or are we still hopeful we get placed in another conference?

    2 tickets to UNI

Should have put a price. Was thinking $50 per ticket. Can transfer electronically.

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

First quarter? The PAC12 said no “we don’t want to implode the Big 12”, the B1G and ACC said we need a strong Big 12 (which is code for “it sucks to suck”). You’ve got the Tech AD being vocal. Oliver Luck has been hired as a consultant? It sounds more like we are down 20 late in the third...

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

Just to recap this week: Wednesday we were B1G bound according to the mustache; Thursday the PAC was announcing they were expanding (but actually said they weren’t) and then Tech AD gets all diarrhea of the mouth and proclaims an expansion committee has been formed with ISU/KU top dogs; Friday...

True to form - Hawksters dreaming about the decline of ISU sports

Really smart move to alienate half of your listeners. Good luck with that strategy.

    2 tickets to UNI

I am going to be out of town for a wedding next weekend (which I am bitter about). I have 2 tickets to the UNI game. They are in Section M row 4 seats 3-4. I have them currently listed on the exchange but I would rather avoid that hassle. Let me know if interested.

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

BYU and Cincy looks like the most logical. Pretty decent conference. I still think we eventually wind up in one of the power conferences once streaming becomes an actual thing. Until then, we may be stuck.

Assuming the Big XII implodes, losing the Big XII tournament in KC will be a tragedy

OU just lit a bag of dog crap on fire on OSU's doorstep and then ding dong ditched them. **** OU.

Pac-12 to decide whether to expand within a couple weeks

I would like the record to show that Stew Mandel is the first person I have ever blocked on Twitter. That dude sucks.

Assuming the Big XII implodes, losing the Big XII tournament in KC will be a tragedy

Remember, Kansas City is getting brand spanking new terminal. Writing is clearly on the wall.

If the B12 remains intact and moves forward

This expansion go around has taught me two things: 1) I loathe posts about pod arrangements, maps of proposed teams and 2) the terms “stability”, “no value” and “move the needle” are more indicative of the person saying them being an absolute freaking tool.
