    Also, the Trice stripes may be generic, but ISU shouldn't allow that to inhibit their use. The winged football helmet is generic, inspired by old leather helmet design, and used by many high schools and colleges. But everyone associates it with Michigan football, due to 1) success and 2) marketing.

    I've said it in these threads before, but Javy is my favorite Cub of all time, and I grew up watching Dawson, Sandberg, Dunston & co. His style of play is as exciting as anyone!

    I believe there was another recent launch, but there is a chain visible again in Iowa. Just watched it go SW to N in Ankeny around 9:45. A chain of about a dozen was clearly visible tonight. Even when you know what they are, it's no less cool to see.

    Tree Issue

    The holes are woodpecker damage, I assume. And I believe that usually means there are insects of some kind in the tree that they're trying to get to. Talking to a tree service about some fertilizer/insecticide treatments (root based) might be good.

    Right. Rotating blocks of seats, but not assigned seats. Students still wanted the best seats possible. Me and my buddies certainly weren't alone- there were hundreds waiting outside that day.
