    I love that approach. Get some high-motor, hard-nosed guys and get them in the weight room. I'd like to see some more Kantrail Hortons running up and down the court. And having more of those guys on the roster makes the lean times a bit easier to stomach.

    Just downloaded my Atlas today and started driving in. WHOA. This has always been a great publication, but some of the advanced stats are candy. If you're a stats geek, or someone who gets bored by the surface level garbage, check this out. You won't be disappointed.

    Right, but the NE hillside was never exposed to this extreme heat, and I don't recall it ever looking as stressed as the NW hillside does. I understand it doesn't establish right away, but that sod is up against it in terms of weather conditions.

    Am I the only one completely shocked that the state of Texas offers specialized plates for out-of-state schools? I assume that's rare nationally, and Texas has to be one of the most self-important states in the union.

    That Orr/player photo reminds me how much I loved the schedule posters from that era. I can remember some with cool b&w photos of players like Grayer and Alexander. My dad had them all over our basement when I was little. Wish I had a few.
