Rashawn & Money probably going to get medical redshirts

I like John Walters as much as anyone but he really has no idea on this one. It's no doubt his opinion they'll get one (or he thinks they should) but to predict what the NCAA will do is foolhardy.

    I am just Glad

What???? The Iowa guys are homers? Who would have thought that? (Can't say I've ever heard ISU's announcers show bias.:nah:) You know that when you turn them on, why ***** about it? Unless of course, the reason you listen to them is so you CAN ***** about them.

If we didn't know it before we know it now.

This is kind of what I was thinking. Iowa was dropping into coverage and conceding some rushing yards. Robinson had some nice runs but I don't think stopping him was the main focus of Parker's defense.

Control of the game??? It was 3-0!!!!

If we didn't know it before we know it now.

No doubt Austin was bad today but I thought the difference in the teams up front was more noticeable today than it had been the past few years.

It's not about the schemes, it's about your players and how well they do what they are taught to do. Yes, we spread the Hawks out and ran this great offense we've heard so much about at them. A lot of good that did us. It's not what you do, it's how you do it.

At least we still have our integrity!

Dumb. We got our butts kicked today by a better team. How proud were you when the Cyclones trotted Jason Berryman out on the field. I'll be honest, I'd take a few more alcohol arrests if it meant going to bowl games.

    I hope Iowa fans

If one of those last two kicks goes through the uprights I don't think many Iowa fans would be quite so gracious. I also think that would make their fan base no different than most. We had many Cyclone fans making excuses after letting the game in Iowa City get away last season.

Agreed. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

    Avoid Over-Confidence

I don't see how a fan of either team can be over confident. The jury is still out for both. Have we learned nothing about putting too much stock into week one's performance by a football team?

    Blythe Interview

I think you're over thinking things if you think he was trying to send a message. If that's his fondest memory good for him. I have no problem with that. Most of my fondest memories of the last 2 decades involve beating Iowa. That's my point.

    Blythe Interview

I don't look at this as a positive for Iowa State football and it's history.

Glad we got the win. However

Maybe, at least as far as personnel is concerned, but won't Iowa have all the Rice film from last season to prepare for schemes and tendencies?

    Q for Hawk Fans

I said what I said because a poster stated he'd bet Iowa spends time during each of their practices preparing for Iowa State. He's wrong.

    Q for Hawk Fans

Per people involved in the program you would lose that bet.

    That's some serious optimism!

    Rushing the Field

I don't have a problem with the students going on the field after a win. It's only college football, not a big deal in my opinion.

    Jewel Hampton to Redshirt

I think the only fan bases who turn to the "they didn't go to school so they shouldn't be a fan" thing are those whose teams don't have a broad appeal to non-alums. Also, making fun of the Iowa (or any other) fan base smacks of the same thing Cyclone fans love to accuse Iowa fans of.......arrogance.

    Hawk fan leave me alone!

Define "accosted" as it relates to what happened to you.
