The south shore of Lake Superior has several cool places. The Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds is very pretty. As mentioned above the Pictured Rocks is a must see. Tahquamenon Falls State Park is really cool, the second largest falls east of the Mississippi. Also, there is a brewery...
Spooky Tooth takes me back. Great band. Gary Wrightwent on to record Dreamweaver. If you are into 60's music check out the compilation "This is the Song I Sing". Compilation of 60's era bands from the San Francisco bay area. Some pretty obscure but good bands.
I am a big Sigur Ros fan. Will be going to their concert in St Paul in April. There is a lot of good music coming out of Iceland, Of Monsters and Men, Sin Fang, Seabear.
I listen to SIgur Ros a lot also. Will be going to their concert in St. Paul in April. Also listen to Radio Reykjavik occassionally. A lot of good music coming out of Iceland.
Coaches Corner is closed. I would reccomend Smiles for Miles. It is about 1 block south of the Dry Dock on the east side of the road next to Regal Begal. They have several HD tv's and frosted mugs. All Cycline gamewatches are held there.
My wife and I are going there this weekend for the annual Buffalo Roundup and Arts Festival at Custer State Park. The roundup is on Monday. We have been wanting to go to this for years, looks pretty interesting

I have a program from the pre-season basketball scrimmage on Halloween from Fred's freshman year signed by everyone from the team and Coach Orr. Fun scrimmage where Johnny came out in a hearse.
A new brewery is opening in Spirit Lake, Okoboji Brewing Company. They are sponsoring the Okoboji Winter Games and all their beers will be introduced there this weekend. Getting great reviews. Can't wait to get a taste.
