    I don't think we know what Iowa wants...it is a new administration. Iowa is an attractive job for more than a few reasons...even though I despise the their programs. A great hire will compete in that league...might not win a title but there is no reason a great hire couldn't get that program...

    One of the reasons I put Bob Feller is due to his military service DURING his career. I get that many professional athletes put their careers on hold during WWII...but it amazes me that so many did! Feller missed out on the magical 300 when it comes to wins...likely due to his military...

    Yeah...I get that...I enjoy the lack of support the UI MBB program receives...it is so funny to me! And I hope it continues for decades! That said...Iowa needs a reset and that is a chance things could improve for them...but I hope not!

    I have no idea why...but I never even thought of this opportunity. Would GMac leave a good situation to attempt a rebuild at Iowa? He leads THE program on his campus now...at either OSU or UI he would clearly be the second most important program on campus no matter how successful he was!

    Is DeVries really the best coach out there for Iowa to get? I mean...it is a subjective question but geography is certainly playing a role in our projections in this situation, right? He might be a great hire...or he might be another successful mid-major coach that flames out when given a shot...
