Seriously, why don't we talk about the important stuff?

    Touche. Well played.

Seriously, why don't we talk about the important stuff?

When Iowa takes the field why don't we play Jailhouse Rock by Elvis. Iowa has a great list of players that are familiar with that.

    New found respect for Pollard

Call me a sucker but I was a proponent of hiring Chizik. I understood that this would be a "stepping stone" of hopefully five years. However, I never anticipated the marriage would end this early. While the 5 wins weren't exactly what I was hoping for, Chizik did leave some great young talent...

Not to change the subject---but anyone done with finals yet?

2 tomorrow. Looking at the best academic semester here yet. Also the most I've ever looked at CF. I see a direct correlation... more CF... better grades. Here's to a 3.75

    Hilton magic is dead!

I'm not ready to throw Cyclone Alley under the bus yet. Did you see the students bowing to Lucca after his 5th three in the first 12 minutes? Or the intensity in the first half? Winning makes a huge difference in support. Students want to see wins just like everybody else. Sure there is...

    Lucca

From this weekend's games, I though Lucca could potentially be a liability on defense. While he does play with a ton of heart (and that's what I love about him), he is a bit slow. He will have to guard a 3. Haluska is our best perimeter defender, which, in truth, doesn't say a whole lot. Would...

    Flash websites

Check out www.pinecreekstudio.com. It may be a little spendy but they do good work. They did the website for who I'm working for this summer.

    Who will replace Coach Prioleau?

Pure speculation but if he did choose to sell it, I would guess either Todd Miller (former punt returner at ISU) or Lefty Moore (former ISU b-baller) would be interested. Both currently work for the Attack. I'm pretty sure that everything was financed by the guy that owns the Jensen property...

    Who will replace Coach Prioleau?

I don't think that its necessarily the kids, rather the traveling. Also, I can't imagine it would be possible to coach AAU ball and college basketball at the same time. There has to be some NCAA regulation about that.

Birthday present? That's about as exciting as someone committing to DMACC.

    Who will replace Coach Prioleau?

Our chances of getting Jake to join the coaching staff are about as good as a popsicle's chance in hell. Jake has a young kid (and I think one on the way) and he enjoys the AAU gig. I'm pretty sure he likes where he is at and wouldn't move from the All Iowa Attack. ...doesn't mean I wouldn't...

Yes. His little brother played quarterback and linebacker for the Gilbert Middle School team this year.

    Draft for ISU

I saw Blythe last night at an establishment on Welch. Some drunk idiot asked him if he got drafted. His response "C'mon lets be real. It was only the first two rounds." He'll sign as a RFA somewhere.

Harrison Barnes "top 10" '10 prospect

Jake Sullivan is his AAU coach. It would be nice to have a little push from him to go to ISU, however, as a coach, you want to see your kid succeed at the next level. If Iowa State is the best place to do that, so be it. Harrison is very close to his mom. There wouldn't be any "I'll go to ISU so...

Guess what made the Board of Regents' Agenda?

I don't think we'll have a problem selling the seats as long as the Cyclone Club can get the 1 in 10 program going (1 in every 10 living alumni donate to the Cyclone Club.) There are about 15 counties in Iowa that have already hit that 10% mark. Just 79 more...
