    Texas/Barnes deserves credit!

He had his team well prepared. Their perimiter defense was the best defense I have seen all year on our guards. Scotty couldn't even get a shot off, and we all know how important Scotty is to our offense. The other things is he kept telling his team to go to the basket and that was the...

At least Bubu will take the ball to the hole. That's why Texas is getting us in foul trouble!

Texas guards are 3 times quicker than us. We can run an offense at all. Unless this game's tempo changes it's one and done for us. We need to get some fresh bodies in there!

Like I mention every game, McGee is our best offensive rebounder and should be playing Chris Allen's minutes every game!

Texas defense on the perimeter is very good, they're really quick. We are going to have to hit some threes to win this!

    Tavon Sledge

Railey was a MCdermott guy, he will never play in Hoiberg's system of going up and down. Hoiberg plays more of an NBA style, where the floor is spread on the perimiter and Railey is not that type of player like Booker who can stretch the defense.

T.J. does need a lot of credit as well. When Bobby left, everyone was so concerned how this coaching staff was going to fall apart. TJ was promoted and has been in charge of implenting the game plans etc. No one is even mentioning what great of job he has done this year?

Williams Blog: The perfect Senior Night

I know Allen is a talent, but if you watch, we play with much better flow when CA is on the bench. Last evening once again, McGee sparked us when he came in and we went from quite a deficit to a lead. He does all the little thnings to make us better. When CA is on, he can shoot the light out...

Williams Blog: The perfect Senior Night

I personally wish McGee would get most of Allen's minutes as well. He does so much to make the team better. He is the best offensive rebounder we have on the team, he hustles every possession. I love watching this guy play!

    Locker Room Video--CFH Speaks!

Yeah, you're exactly right. There's a lot of coaches in the country that would jump up and down and get emotional - not Coach Hoiberg. He does everything a little different. Great motivator, but approaches things differently. Sorry for the confusion!

    Locker Room Video--CFH Speaks!

Fred is not the motivator as far as locker room speeches, half-time speeches, etc. as many of the great coaches are. However, I think everything Coach Hoiberg says to his team is well thought out, planned, and is always sent with a message to them. I really don't know how many coaches in the...

Perry Jones 3 article on ESPN

Great article. I think you really have to feel for kids that are that young and have a lot of tough choices to make. His family, his mother's health problems, the Universtiy of Baylor, Scott Drew, and going to the pros, even if you feel maybe you are not exactly ready for it. The weight of...

Why did Scott Drew call 2 quick 2nd half timeouts

Were you guys watching the game? At that time, White had 3 fouls. He wanted to isolate one of their post players- Jones (I belive) on Ejim. They came out of both timeouts going right at him. His intentions were to attack us in the post with isolations until we decided to double or commit...

Absolutely, when you can get a kid coming in from another state and take on the leadership, the commitment, and then see in his last game what it means to play in Hilton on this court.... That was a very special moment..... what a great career!

Horrible shot selection in transition for Babb. Jackson went right to the rim, that's how you attack in transition!
