    No CBI. For god sakes lets dig a deep hole and push every shred of this season into it, and never speak of it again. I'm serious. Bury the practice balls, the uniforms, the playbooks, towels, everything. Throw in a sacraficial goat for good measure. Burn it, then bury it!

    We are certainly due for some crazy good luck when it comes to mens basketball. For me the best part of the win on Sat was possibly screwing KSU out of a 1 seed.:yes:

    If money was not an issue....

    He's gone either way, money or not. Probably this year, after next year for sure. By next year the buyout will be down to $2.0 mil., attendance will be about 4,000 and U of I will also be looking for a coach. Why wait?

    What would it take?

    He needs to give us something to believe in for next year. It will take more than 1 Big 12 tourney win to convince me. IMO he needs to win 3 more games this year to generate some momentum for next years ticket sales. I do not see this team winning another game though. Hope I am wrong.:sad:

    Yeah, that is one of the downside that I see to him. Also he lacks connections to the state of Iowa or the Big 12. On the flip side he has coached in the midwest (Indiana). He also doesn't have the "baggage" the Billy G has.
