    Looking at the EIU schedule and teams they have remaining; I cannot see more than two maybe three wins. Home vs Minn., Home vs. Penn State and then beat either beat Maryland on the road or Wisconsin at home. No way they win the two games vs Illinois, NW or MSU on the road.

    They will not fire mad Fran at the end of the year, they do not want to pay his buyout and he has done enough to get another year or two to bury the program. Fran will play they were young team this year and should be better next season.

    I would like to agree with you, and hope it happens, but taking another one-year deal pushes Jones to the magic age of 30, which he will hit this year. Clubs do not want to invest huge dollars into players 30 and over at his position.
