    I really doubt the Chiefs have the cap space to sign Jones for what he wants, and if they do, that will eat up all the cap and they would not be able to then turn around and sign either Sneed or Gay. Letting Jones walk allows you to free up money to sign other players, it sucks but that is the NFL.
