In sports, it's not about how much talent a team has. It's about how the coach can get the most out of the talent they have. Individually, Iowa State has some positions where they are equal or possibly better than Iowa. But it is the sum of the parts that gets the job done.- Knight78

So by your logic, TCU would be below Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, and be comparable to Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. After all, in TCU's game this year against Minnesota they won by only 6 and Minnesota is 4-3 (2-1 in the Big 10).- Knight78

No. What that means is that Iowa treats the ISU game as it should: a non-conference game to get you ready to play the conference season. ISU usually plays the game with more intensity and emotion because they believe it is one of the few wins they will get. -
