    If we lose to Iowa...

My guess is that the sun will rise the next morning.

    Turning Down Bowl Bid

Probably the best thing to do for our scholar-athletes. These young men are at Iowa State for an education. Studies first.

    The Pollard Regime

The VB success has me very excited about the future of our entire athletic program. JP has truly done an outstanding job in bringing championship quality VB to ISU. The VB teams excellence can serve a great model for the FB and BB programs! Without question, if we can do it in VB, then we can...

    Chances of winning the North

Yes we can. And, I predict on Decmeber 6 in Arlington, under the leadership of Santa Anna Rhoads, Iowa State will pummel the Longhorns to such an extent that the State of Texas will forget the Alamo.

    A&M--Avoiding a Letdown

IcSyU, Gosh, I guess when you said, " Tons of Intelligence here," you weren't congratulating me on the football acumen I showed in predicting the Nebraska win. Drat! As to your claiming "I didn't say it was impossible we'd win," please excuse me, I was never very good with those darn %s. So...

    A&M--Avoiding a Letdown

Alarson83, I agree that the 8 TO margin was unexpected. But, when one plays a football team with an offense as inept as Nebraska's, expect the unusual to occur. You might also note that with A-Rob and Austen playing, he only moved our chances of winning to 10%. I enjoy exchanging views with...

    A&M--Avoiding a Letdown

This guy insulted me last week when I predicted the Nebraska win. He made this prediction and said this about me: "We NEED A-Rob to be ready to go. Without A-Rob, I'D GIVE US A 1% CHANCE OF WINNING. If we have to rely on Schwartz, we're in deep **** because Suh will shut down the middle. With...

    A&M--Avoiding a Letdown

Let down? You have to be kidding. We are just getting started on our historic run for the Big XII Championship. 11-2. Humming "The Belles of Iowa State" all day. Arlington, here we come!

11-3! Just as I predicted last Sunday!

Ankeny's Brandon Jensen Commits to ISU

I don't like quick defensive linemen. They tend to run themselves out of the plays. Great Get!

Say what? You mean when ISU beats Nebraska on Saturday. 11-3

ISU: First Place In The North on 11/1 ?

Absolutely. We are going to play in December and January. 11-3

Will Nebraska kill ISU, or can we sneak one by them??

Chuck, Put down your pessimism and see the new reality. The North is now our playground. If we don't believe in the greatness of our scholar-athletes, who will? 11-3

Will Nebraska kill ISU, or can we sneak one by them??

Your inquiry is sdrawkcabssa! After last night every team in the North fears us. An honest assessment of the season shows that we are 3 measly unlucky plays from being in the NC hunt. A less than fortuitous bounce on the Iowa onside, a horrorific interference call in KC and an untimely puff...

What bowl are we going to?

If we don't play in January, this team will have under performed. Clearly, we are at this time the best team in the midwest.

    On to Nebraska...

If their was any justice in this world, we should be in the top 25. We are within 3 plays of being undefeated, a bad bounce on the onside against Iowa, a bad PI call in the 2nd Quarter against K-State and a whiff of wind at the end of the Kansas game.

    Attendance at Baylor game

It was SRO. That's my story and I am sticking with it. We should be 7-0 and in the NC mix, but for some bad luck [Iowa], bad calls [K-State] and a silly whiff of wind [Kansas]. We will finish 10-3! I almost pity the hapless Huskers.
