Yep
We moved:
LB Manny Abreu to DE
SS Kaseeme Green to WLB [2011-12 Big East Co-Defensive player of the year]
Some of our corner backs to saftey (2011-2012 tops in the nation in pass defense including ints)
Some of our heavier DEs to 3tech
And some of our 3techs to NT...
We will be adding some...
ISU is NOT putting up more then 21 points on Rutgers' defense.
I'll go with:
Rutgers 24
[1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD, 1 defensive/special teams TD, 1FG]
ISU 20
[1 passing TD, 1 rushing TD, 2FGs]
The daily targum is the official daily student newspaper (everyday of each semester). They stop printing new issues once reading days start for finals (around Dec 14th I think). Finals go through Dec 23rd. Unfortunately for you they won't start up again until the first day of spring semester...
"Founded in 1869, it is the second-oldest collegiate newspaper in the United States."
Hmm... I always thought it was the oldest...
BTW speaking of 1869...
"Rutgers won the first [football] game with a score of six "runs" to Princeton's four, on November 6, 1869."
Syracuse used to OWN us on the FB field for years (usually resulting in blow outs)... Unfortunately they still do on the BB court... Their fans used to and still currently are VERY nasty about it... Their domination in the series was due to the talent disparity and lack of support (academic...
UM... It IS unacceptable to MOST of our fanbase (myself included)... Fan expectation has changed due to the success of the 2005-2009 seasons... Not many fans are happy that Rutgers is a perennial 7 to 8 win team... They would have offered their first newborn for consistent 7-8 win seasons 10...
We struggled in attendance this year due to:
1. Economy
2. A 4-8 losing season last year (1st losing season since 2004)
3. Increase in cost of tickets (I think they increased them 200%)
4. Uncertain start times of games due to ESPN/weather/religous holidays
5. Going 8-4 this year - anything less...
Also pretty sure that in 2005 we sent 20-25k to the insight bowl against Arizona State...
We are much further then Iowa St from Arizona... We are known by bowl committees to have a solid bowl traveling fan base (3rd in the BE behind WVU and Louisville)...
We should have a good turn out for...
10k as of the start of this week THROUGH the school. That doesn't account for tickets through the cheaper distributors stub hub, ticketmaster etc. If the weather holds up I would not expect ANY less then 40K Rutgers fans... Already all luxury boxes/suites (all the indoor expensive stuff) are...
Rutgers students have ALWAYS had free tickets to Rutgers bowl games... Those students who do attend just have to pay for their own room and board etc.
Similarly student tixs are free at home games... Students have free tickets to ALL Rutgers home athletic events.
All this stuff comes out...

...hopefully with a Rutgers win to end the year on a high note...

How could I forget...
Fat Sandwiches from the Rutgers Grease Trucks...

Why Knights?
"The First Game" statue at Rutgers Stadium.
Prior to every home football game, the team travels down the "Scarlet Walk" and touches the statue.
Since its days when the school was officially known as Queen's College, the athletic teams were referred to as the Queensmen...
