Re: Horny out in Phoenix??? Rumor There is also many that believe he'll be fired soon, so he could be genuinely interested in the position...

List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

I posted this scenario last night in a different thread (dream scenario, and will most likely not happen) 1. Fred ends up taking the Bulls job. (We all cry) 2. ISU hires Jeff Hornacek 3. Jeff Hornacek is successful with us either Winning National Championship, going to a Final Four, or just...

I'll agree to disagree with you. The "0" likes you given tells me you care little for others opinion

If Fred doesn't win a championship he will also be fired, even if they like him.

Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

You don't watch the NBA do you.... Cav's are trending upward, Bulls are trending downward... Sorry Fred will struggle to win championships. Winning was never the problem for Thibs

Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

How about this... 1. Fred leaves to the NBA 2. We hire Jeff H. 3. Two-3 years after a final four/national championship Gar Foreman wants another ISU coach in Jeff H. and fire Fred 4. Bulls then fire Fred and hire Jeff H. 5. Fred then returns to continue what he started and commits for good We...

Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

Does any 'insiders' here besides Jeremy have any other insight on what they have been hearing? I've been paying attention, but anything in the last day? Things I know... 1. Nothing is for sure, but we've all come to the conclusion he's most likely gone. My question do we even have a shot? 2...

Official 2015 Hoiberg NBA Speculation Thread

Fred takes the Timber wolves job next year and drafts Monte Morries, and brings in Royce White to start his NBA coaching career. Still "hoping" we see him in Ames till his youngest are out of high school, but I'm doubting that happens anymore.

    Diallo to Kansas

    I'll respectfully disagree with you.

    Diallo to Kansas

Every time Hogue would dribble the ball I would have a small anxiety attack. If you paid close attention Nader defended better, and rebounded well when he was out there. Hogue was great don't get me wrong, but has far as skill (and yes Hogue shot the three well last year) Nader can do more...

    Diallo to Kansas

McKay and Diallo are pretty much the same player and we can argue who is better, but I'm sure that factored into the decision. With the roster that will return next year it's going to be hard to sell someone on coming to ISU (if they are only going to be here for one year), because we are...

    Diallo to Kansas

Jameel and Cheick are very similar players if you ask me. I'll take a Senior Jameel McKay (Defensive Player of the Year) over Cheick in a match-up. Would I rather have both; sure. Also, Cheick is not Joel Embiid and I'm sure Niang has a few moves for him.

Fred being offered by the Bulls rumor gaining a little momentum..

If he stays he'll have some down years, but ISU fans (the majority) will always see Hoiberg as who he really is, that being a humble, successful, grateful, family man that gave everything he could to this university when he was here. I don't think you can say the same for Kirk. It doesn't look...
