Excellent post, well written. My favorite sports magazine has long been The Sporting News. I used to have a subscription years ago before so much content started being posted online for free. However, I do still purchase the College Football Preview issue annually and read it from cover to cover.- jsheajr

As a third baseman, I once made an unassisted triple play. The best part was that it happened in the same game where I later made a leaping catch of a line drive in extra innings that helped our team (which was pretty bad!) beat the first place team, which was a perennial powerhouse in the league. -

How much do you crave College football at this point in time?
I am so ready for College Football! I can't stand the wait any longer. I don't watch much TV but when I do, mostly all I've been watching is old games on ESPNU and CBS College Sports for the past few weeks! -
Attendance for NDSU
True, but my point is that most schools have played Thursday night games in the past and I don't think the majority of their fans have complained about it. Seeing their teams play is an event, something to make plans for or plan around. -
One Week Away!
Thank you for your comment. My wife and I love ISU and Ames and are proud to support the Cyclones. My daughter is only aware of Cy and seeing him is a huge thrill, like at Fan Fest last weekend, but in time she'll be a fan too!
