    Custer's Game

    My guess having never seen the guy play (other than highlight videos...not the same) is he is a really good player. What is not a guess is that he will become a much better player under CFH.

    Thanks for the help? If you watch NBA stats or game cast, they have a running +/- number by player. Maybe just a game by game thing. That was why I asked if they had it for college games.

    I just read 9 pages before I get to someone who finally answers the Encore Pizza question. Come on fellas. Cyclone great has a pizza place and it takes 9 pages? BTW the pizza is very good. Better than Pagliai's IMO. And yes, it is thin crust.

    Not sure that MT's play is lackluster. He is not shooting well. I agree we could use more confidence but, 5 points, 4 assists, 3 rebs, and no TO's is not lackluster imo. Room for improvement for sure but I like the rotation as is.

    Life long Cowboy fan. Do yourself a favor and change allegiance. I did after the Packers game and it feels great. Has been in the works for a long time. Can't handle Jerry any more. Not about W-L. Just too much show for me. I hate on TX every Saturday. No reason to root for a TX team on Sunday...

    Wasn't Loney OC for Rosenfels at ISU? Maybe comes with Sage as QB coach? May be a stretch, but heard Sage on with Cotlar yesterday and it sounded a bit awkward at the end when Larry wished Sage well on whatever is next?

    The one thing I like about GR is that we don't run the zone read with him in there. This whole pistol thing this year has been a disaster. I still think the ceiling is higher with SR. Just my opinion.

    The talent gap is scary...

    I'll be the first to say I know nothing about recruiting. But I think our biggest talent gap is between the ears right now...not saying we cant develop more physically but it wont matter if we dont fix mental side.

    Granted it has only been a couple games, but I have been impressed with Thomas' s abilty to rise up and shoot over the guy guarding him. The competion will get much better. But IMO he almost looks more in rythym on his shot when he is closely guarded. This plus his deep range are very valuable...

    1983/84 season. Barry Stevens and Jeff hornacek. ISU v KU. Used to get to to the KU game every year as a kid. Was the hightlight of my year every year...+ we always won over Larry Brown!
