    Gotcha steel, I still think that when a guy is 6-5 throw him a few jump balls. He made a spactacular catch (out of bounds) maybe (nothing ever goes right for ISU) he could come down with one in bounds if we give him a shot.

    We cannot take UNI lightly. I would love to see the defensive line step to the plate and push the o-line of UNI around. There were times that the defensive line looked good in pressure, but for hte most part, they were subpar.

    Yeah, as if Meyer has never overthrown someone. When you have a guy who is that tall and fast with that much body control give him a chance. If it was picked, then we punted. There is a lack of a downfield threat from hte offense when we have a guy who could be a dangerous weapon.

    The most frustrating part of the game for me was the special teams play, esp the kicking game. For too long we have been pitiful when kicking fieldgoals. I KNOW that we are going to miss the kick before the snap. At least we didnt miss the extra points.

    Blythe ran a long fade route last night in which he caught the ball out of bounds. It looked to me like Blythe could have come down with the ball against that guy more times than not, but we didnt give him a chance to catch the ball in bounds. Granted, that corner was an all conferece player...

    Went to Spiderman 3 at the Imax, pretty cool, although I thought that the movie was just ok......Kirsten Dunst is fine, but she didnt look as good as she did in the first two.

    Sure some folks want gas prices to go up, what about poor people or those on fized incomes that cannot afford the run up in gas. Yeah, a higher price will spur investment and put new technologies on a faster track, but at what expense?

    What about Andrew Skoglund. I think that this same rumor was flying around when Skogs was here. He was as smart as any player we had (not to mention huge) But remember this debate as to whether he was not on athletic scholarship, but on an acedemic one instead.

    Good Trade for the Bears. They have built their team by grabing players in the middle to late rounds of the draft. Based upon their track record, they will probably land a solid, young player with the pick.

    New look uniforms coming....

    I am ready for a change to retro ISU for at least a game. The Old Schoold Cy is as good as it gets as a logo and the old (true) colors would look sweet on a football uniform. Bring the GOLD BACK!!! Please Lord, Do NOT put beat Iowa on our uniforms. I hate them, but it makes us look pitiful.
