    I wouldn't mind this honestly. Let the p2 go be the NFL's minor league and pretend their football programs have anything to do with their universities and those university's missions. We can watch amateur *student* athletes play the game for the love of the game.

    Agreed. Once players unionize, get classified as employees, and then get paid, what's the point of the university association outside of manipulating people's love for their schools? I can't imagine the players going to class at that point. It's the end of the student athlete in CFB.

    For ISU, yes. Remember, 1 of those wins comes against an FCS school and another against non-P5. I'm glad we got those wins obviously but it's tough to brag about them. That record would have us .500 against our peers.

    I'm going to guess we lose 3 more. I'm actually more nervous about Texas than Oklahoma. Texas lost to Arkansas but Arkansas looks legit this year. We get them in Ames though. We lose at least 2 against Oklahoma, KSU, and WVU. Those are all away games.

    Maybe "it" was a nearly cancelled season, cancelled games nearly every week, many players deciding not to play, truncated schedules, an extra year of eligibility, etc. Hard to make predictions about the future based on 2020 season.

    It's really tough to make hypotheticals like this IMO. If the game was tighter in the 4th quarter Iowa doesn't move to prevent d and continues to stuff our offense. It was pretty clear to everyone I think that it was over by the 4th.
