    HB playing in cap city league tonight

    What a fun night to catch a game, didn't know HB was going to show up. Between HB, Dendy, Gilstrap, and Colvin it was 40 minutes of fun. HB might of had 30 pts; let alone all the dunks in the game. A/C was nice to have tonight also.

    Might have something to do with all of us Iowa people going to Chicago to for basketball games 3 times this year. Need to start a new blog on who/how many get a ticket! Traffic cone prices might have to go up!!!

    6/17 Capitol City League Thread

    I agree with cycloneroyce; I tried to talk with a few of the kids after the games on how things went. Everyone I talked to said it was kinda first game jitters. Some of them said that they were surprise Dorr was there for the last game because he was home sick the last 2 days.

    I heard thru the grapevine tonight was one of the first open gyms for the players and with the Capital City league starting this week; we will get to see some of these new kids play!

    Capital City League Summer BB

    The kids that play the Capital City League are there to have a little fun and get their face associated with the name. What you don't see is the 5-6 hrs of workouts, jobs, or class they go to before the summer games; not including camps they attend. They are very busy Kids during the summer...

    I ran across Alex Dorr at the mall the other day and had asked him about this, he said that the coaches had told him that he would be in the league this summer but no schedule or information was given yet. Very nice kid - great to talk to.

    Antwon Oliver-Scouting report, other interesting info

    The thing on grades and I don't know how colleges use them but maybe thats the reason why someone like Dorr from Norwalk was recruited-walkon is because of grades, work ethic, and defense as well as his team play. Maybe walk-ons are a bigger part of the team than alot of people think?
