    I like that he's finally seeming to realize that ISU is there, but while I've been impressed with DU overall, his coverage of some of the lesser teams in the Big 12 is spotty and inconsistent at best.

    I think you'll see Richardson red-shirting on general principle. There are a lot of good reasons to red-shirt, most of them having to do with learning the offensive system of wherever you end up. But who knows, it's a long time until spring practice.

    Shontrelle, no question. Woody will always be an integral part of the offense, but he's not the electrifying back that Shontrelle and Robinson are.

    I'm guessing Barnett, Capello and Tiller will all have about an equal chance. I just don't think we know enough about Barnett and Capello to make any kind of judgment yet. What we have seen so far from Tiller and somewhat from Capello is that the running game will be predominant.

    I think that Iowa State is just on the cusp of receiving votes in the human polls, if we had one more win, we'd probably have gotten votes. Win against Nebraska and we'll probably get a handful, maybe enough to get us to 25. If we lose against Nebraska, we won't be ranked this year.

    Paul Rhoads pretty clearly let off the gas after 28. I'm not sure whether that's classy, foolish, or what. I think it's pretty clear that the Cyclones could have scored at least two more TD's if the starters had stayed in.
