    Agreed. Unfortunately I don’t think BF will ever go after this type of player but man, ISU needs some physicality. It sucks knowing you won’t beat certain teams unless you’re lights out from 3 because you know you will get out toughed.

    Emily Ryan has also regressed this year. Hopefully this team does enough and finds a way to make the tournament still. As for next year, life without Joens and Soares could be scary, especially if Donarski and Ryan don’t regain their sophomore year abilities.

    They only made 8. While I usually agree with this, had we not over helped and left them open, they probably end up getting a foul call anyways. All those wide open 3’s and we still got called for 30 fouls… run them off the 3 point and we probably get called for 40 fouls and have 5 guys foul out...

    Interesting. I know we played 12 non conference games last year though. Why is the NCAA trying to decrease games? It always used to be 31 games. 30 minimum. Outside of the COVID shortened year I don’t remember us ever playing less than 30 games and I’ve had season tickets for years.

    Question, why is ISU only playing 11 non conference games this year (vs 13) and 29 total games instead of 31? They have some tough games remaining too. @ Iowa, @ #25 Villanova and vs Drake. It’s somewhat realistic they head into conference play with only 8/9 total wins.

    Why would she have been coming off the bench? Wise and Scott are both gone so the door was pretty open for her I’d imagine.. ISU only has 3 starters returning.

    I don’t want to put the blame on Bill though without knowing the whole situation. I speculated on that earlier but he could’ve done everything right and she just wasn’t happy here.     Emiah Bingley to Florida State where she averaged about 5/6 PTS per game over 3 years and made 89 3’s. Kylie has to be the most talented and biggest surprise transfer ISU has had in what, 15 years?

    I hate to break it to you but when a player transfers, it’s usually because of something the head coach did. If a player is fully happy with their role, PT, etc, they aren’t leaving. She had the PT so I’m guessing she thought she should have had a bigger role on offense than she did.

    Next year loses all of its excitement and momentum if Ryan or Lexi also left. I don’t even want to think about that. The program was in a great spot with a very bright future heading into next year before Kylie transferred. Hopefully it stops there..

    I didn’t miss a game. He was a little more lenient on that but he must’ve done something wrong for her to transfer out of the blue like this because she seemed to love Iowa State.

    Getting benched after every mistake isn’t for everyone. Bill is a great coach but when you coach that way, you risk losing kids.
